Carolinas Aviation Regional Safety Seminar (CARSS) Scholarship

The goal of the program is to give-back to the aviation community by providing students working to become a career pilots or maintenance professionals with meaningful and purposeful scholarships.

Preference given to aviation maintenance students:

  • Enrolled Full-time in the Aviation Maintenance or Career Pilot Associate Degree program.
  • Demonstrated Financial Need – Must complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Exceptions may be made for students who do not meet the standard Federal level of need.
  • Maintain a 2.4 or better GPA in curriculum courses during the term of the scholarship.
  • Completed first year of two-year program.
  • May use the funds in pursuit of FAA licensing requirements with designated examiners.
  • On a career track that includes degree and Airframe and Powerplant FAA certificates
  • Express desire to work in the aviation industry.
  • Career pilot students who have earned an FAA Private Pilot Certificate.
