The Ford Fund STEM Scholarship Program

The Ford Fund STEM Scholarship is for candidates, who are undergraduate students of color enrolled in STEM-related degree programs at accredited U.S. colleges and universities or two (2)-year colleges during the 2023-24 academic year.

Eligibility Criteria:
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
File a FAFSA Form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form)
Demonstrate unmet financial need as verified by the college or university
Be a U. S. Citizen, National, or Permanent Resident of the United States
Be a student of color
Be a full-time college junior or senior attending a four-year accredited institution or a full-time student attending a two-year accredited institution or certification (certificate) program

All Candidates Must Major In One Of The Following STEM Areas of Study:
▪ Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing,
Industrial, Software, or Environmental Engineering.
▪ Engineering Studies: Process, Quality, Computer,
Systems, Battery, Automation Controls, Safety,
Materials.
▪ Cyber-Security.
▪ Certification Pathways in Data/IT, including specific
software expertise relevant to Automotive Industry:

Automotive Technician and Collision Technician Training,
▪ Skilled Trades: Electrical, Machining, CAD, Welding,
Tool Operating, Manufacturing Assembling, Production Technician.
▪ Robotics and Mechatronics.
▪ Urban and Regional Planning.
▪ Math and Science – related to IT, Data, Sustainability,
Chemistry, Materials Science
*Preference shall be given to female students.
